Winter Race League

The Club will be running the 2009/10 Winter Race League.

Dates/Times

Thursday 12th November (Bib Issue: 6.15pm, Warm Up: 6.30pm, Race Start: 7.00pm) - Results
Sunday 29th November (Bib Issue: 5:45pm, Warm Up: 6.00pm, Race Start: 6:30pm) - Results
Sunday 31st January (Bib Issue: 5:45pm, Warm Up: 6.00pm, Race Start: 6:30pm) - Results
Sunday 28th February (Bib Issue: 5:45pm, Warm Up: 6.00pm, Race Start: 6:30pm) - Results
Sunday 28th March (Bib Issue: 5:45pm, Warm Up: 6.00pm, Race Start: 6:30pm) - Results
Sunday 18th April (Bib Issue: 5:45pm, Warm Up: 6.00pm, Race Start: 6:30pm) - Results

“Warm Ups” should take place on the other slope whilst the course is being set.

Age Groups (Boys and Girls)

Minis (Year of Birth 1999 and later)
Children (Year of Birth 1996, 1997 and 1998)
Junior (Year of Birth 1995 and earlier)

Prizes

Age Group and Overall Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd for both Boys and Girls

Format

3 Runs over the same course with the fastest two times being added together to give an overall time for that particular event.The best 4 Races of the series will be counted towards the Age Group and final overall positions.

Results/Points

Results will be calculated with positional points being awarded as per the Grand Prix Series.

1st - 7 Points
2nd - 5 Points
3rd - 3 Points
4th - 2 Points
5th – 1 point

Overall Points will run from 30 points for 1st Place down to one point for 19th place.  Race Points and Overall Standings will be published on the Gloucester Ski Club Website after each event.

Race Entry

Race entry is open to anyone from Gloucester Ski Club or Slalom Plus and will be £4.00 payable on the day when you collect your Bib. All Racers MUST pre register on the Thursday or earlier before the race is scheduled to take place, this will enable start lists etc to be prepared in advance.
