Winter Race League

During the winter, Gloucester Ski Club hold an internal Winter Race League open to all members of the club.  The level is between Summer Race League and Club National, and provides good race experience for all those who want to race next Summer.

Rules:

  • There will be three runs down the same course, with the best two being added together to get an overall time
  • There is no practice on the course, just a warm up and then course inspection, where racers are not able to ski the course
  • The best four results from the five races count for each skiers, with the other result being included only in the event of a draw
  • Age groups are as the previous seasons dryslope age groups

Best overall boy/male
Best overall girl/female
Top boy/male in each age group
Top girl/female in each age group

Program:

  • 6.00 - 6.15 - Open Practice
  • 6.15 - 6.30 - Course is set (skiers must not go on the slope)
  • 6.30 - 6.40 - Course Inspection
  • 6.45 - 8.00 - Race (in age group order)
