For those of you who are new to this, the Summer Race League is a great way to get in to racing and just to have fun. The day is split into 2 timed runs down the same course in the morning, then 3 runs of dual slalom in the afternoon. None of the courses are very difficult, thought they increase in difficulty throughout the summer, and all can be skied before racing begins. The club is entering 2 teams of 10 racers this year. Racers will be split into groups based on age, in which points can be scored in the morning depending on their position within in the group. In the afternoon points are scored on the outcome of the dual slaloms. The races are designed to be fun team events for any level of skier. It would be great to see as many of you as possible racing this summer.
